Hello, my name is Wadha Al Sulaitii — I’m a single mother doing my very best to raise my two beautiful children. One of them, my sweet boy Hassan, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, a disease that changed our lives forever.

Every single day, I watch my little boy fight a battle his small body should never have to face. 💔
I check his blood sugar, count every meal, and wake up multiple times at night just to make sure he’s still safe. Some nights, I barely sleep — too afraid that his sugar might drop too low while he’s dreaming.

There was a time when our life insurance helped cover his medical needs, but now it’s no longer enough. His insulin pumps, glucose sensors, and other supplies are incredibly expensive and must be replaced regularly. Sometimes the sensors fail too soon or the pump stops working — and in those moments, my heart shatters because I can’t always afford to replace them right away. 😢

As if managing diabetes weren’t hard enough, Hassan is also on the autism spectrum. 💙
He needs extra support, therapy, and endless patience every day. Balancing his diabetes care with his autism needs can be overwhelming, but I do it all with love — because he deserves nothing less than a safe, happy, and healthy childhood. 🌈

We currently live in a rental home, and I work hard to cover rent, food, and utilities, but it’s just not enough. I also have a car payment, which is essential for getting Hassan to his doctor appointments, therapy sessions, and emergencies. Every month is a struggle between paying bills, keeping our car, and buying his medical supplies. I never want my son to feel the fear of going without the care he needs. 💔

It’s not easy for me to ask for help — but I’m doing this for Hassan.
He deserves a chance at a full, joyful life — and I’ll do anything to give him that. 💪❤️
