What started as a health concern quickly turned into a nightmare. Lola was rushed to the ICU, where she fought bravely for her life. Machines surrounded her… tubes, monitors, constant alarms—each sound reminding us how fragile life truly is. 💔
Despite the tireless efforts of doctors and nurses, her condition worsened. She developed septic shock, a life-threatening condition where the body shuts down due to severe infection. According to medical studies, septic shock has a mortality rate of up to 40–60%, even with advanced care. 😞
We held her hands. We whispered prayers. We begged for one more moment.
