Eco- English Club for Palestinian Students in Gaza Strip and Egypt
Objectives:
1. Develop English language skills (speak, write, vocabulary) relying on ecological contexts and texts .
2. Spreading environmental awareness in the school and community by employing English to talk about the environment.
3. Encourage students to use language in life situations.
4. Raise awareness of environmental issues through the English language.
Collaborators: Who might collaborate with you in the proposed activities and what will they do?
• The palestinian students will be engaged directly with working on enriching the Egyptian society with more knowledge related to the palestinian community and inhertiage as clothes ,food by doing palestinian exibits in some palestinian schools .
• Palestinian students living in Gaza strips by establishing an environmental community trying to heal the spiritual damage after 2 years of War .
Diversity: our project should increase the work with diverse palestinian communities in Gaza and Egypt relying on using English language.
Proposed Activites:
• English Speaking Circle : (My Favorite Animal – Recycling (Reduce – Reuse – Recycle– Nature and pollution )
• Weekly Vocabulary Board focusing on the environmental texts and contexts .
• English Drama aiming to define the importnce of preserving the clean environment.
• Eco-Posters in English : Save the Planet
