My name is Miraaj Mercury, and I am a father of three beautiful children from South Africa. Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart, asking for help during one of the most difficult and heartbreaking times of my life.
Due to severe financial hardship, I have lost my home and am now facing the frightening reality of not knowing where my family and I will sleep from one day to the next. As a father, nothing is more painful than being unable to provide the basic necessities that my children need to feel safe, secure, and cared for.
Over the past several months, I have done everything in my power to improve our situation. I have searched for opportunities, sought assistance wherever possible, and stretched every resource I had. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, the challenges have become overwhelming. I am now struggling to afford accommodation, food, transportation, and urgent debts that continue to grow each day.
Every day brings uncertainty. The fear of homelessness, hunger, and not being able to support my children weighs heavily on me. I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help, but today I am humbly reaching out in the hope that compassionate people will stand with my family during this crisis.
