Every day, families in Kenya lose loved ones to cancer—not because treatment doesn’t exist, but because the disease is discovered too late. Too many people in rural communities have never been screened and cannot afford lifesaving tests. By the time symptoms appear, it is often too late.
My name is Samuel Gichuhi Githae, an Independent Community Health Advocate committed to changing this reality in Gatundu North, Kiambu County, Kenya.
I am raising funds to launch a Community Cancer Screening and Awareness Program that will provide free breast cancer screening, cervical cancer awareness and HPV vaccination support, prostate cancer PSA testing, and community education for thousands of people who otherwise have little or no access to these vital services.

Our goal is to reach at least 5,000 community members through awareness campaigns and provide free cancer screening for at least 2,000 people. Anyone found to have suspected cancer will be referred to qualified medical specialists for diagnosis and treatment.
Many cancers can be treated successfully when detected early. A simple screening could mean the difference between life and death for a mother, father, grandparent, or friend.
Your generosity will help us bring healthcare directly into the community through screening camps held in schools, churches, community halls, and health centers, making these essential services available to those who need them most.
Every donation—large or small—helps protect families, spread lifesaving awareness, and give people hope for a healthier future.
Together, we can detect cancer earlier, save lives, and build healthier communities across Kenya.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
