Home for Son & Mom

Dear Angel,

If you have found your way to my story, I truly believe it is for a reason.

My name is Natasha. I am a 48-year-old single mother to the most amazing 10-year-old little boy, and with all the humility in my heart, I am reaching out in the hope that someone, somewhere, might be the miracle we have been praying for.

Eleven years ago, my life changed forever when I lost everything I owned in a devastating house fire. In one terrible day, every piece of furniture, every appliance, every item of clothing, every family keepsake, and every possession we owned disappeared. I was left with nothing but the determination to rebuild our lives.

Since then, I have been retrenched twice. Despite working incredibly hard and refusing to give up, I have never managed to recover financially. Today I work two jobs just to survive, and even then, many months I still fall short of paying all our expenses.

My son and I currently share half of a small spare bedroom in my sister's flat. We still live out of boxes and bags because we have never had a place to truly call our own. Every day I dream of giving him the stability, privacy, and security every child deserves.

My elderly parents are also in declining health and urgently need care and support. One of my greatest heartbreaks is knowing that I cannot provide a safe home for them because I simply don't have one. If I had a home of my own, I could finally care for them with the love, dignity, and comfort they deserve.

My little boy never asks for expensive things. His biggest dream is beautifully simple. He says, "Mama, I just want my own room one day… and maybe a puppy… and if possible, a little pool." Those words stay with me every single day because every parent wants to make their child's dreams come true.

Recently, we found a beautiful little freestanding house online and instantly fell in love with it. We could picture ourselves unpacking our boxes at last, decorating his very first bedroom, welcoming a puppy into our family, and opening our doors to my parents so they could spend their later years surrounded by love.

Sadly, it remains only a dream.

Because of my age and financial circumstances, qualifying for a mortgage is simply not possible, even if I could somehow manage the monthly repayments.

Today, I am placing my faith in kindness.

I am praying that an angel donor might consider helping us with a gift of US$350,000. This would allow us to purchase the home, cover the legal and transfer costs, make essential renovations to accommodate my elderly parents' mobility needs, and provide the basic furniture and appliances needed to finally create a home after more than a decade of living with so little.

I know this is an extraordinary request. I do not make it lightly.

If this prayer reaches someone whose heart is moved to help, your generosity would mean so much more than bricks and mortar. You would be giving a little boy his first bedroom. You would be giving a family a place to belong. You would be giving elderly parents the chance to age with dignity, surrounded by those who love them. And you would be giving one exhausted mother something she has not truly felt in years: security, hope, and peace.

Whether you are able to donate, share my story, or simply keep us in your prayers, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

May kindness always find its way back to you a hundredfold.

With sincere gratitude and hope,

Natasha & her grateful little boy
