Give a Child in Rural Uganda a Book, a Computer, and a Chance at a Brighter Future
High on the steep slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains in Kasese District, Uganda, there is a school filled with children who have dreams that are much bigger than the challenges surrounding them.
This is Framu Modern Primary School.
Since its founding, the school has worked to give vulnerable, disadvantaged, orphaned, underprivileged, and other children an opportunity to discover their potential through education.
Today, 563 children attend the school across nursery and primary levels.

They come to school ready to learn.
They come carrying dreams.
But many are learning with far less than they need.
We are asking you to stand with them.
Not because these children need pity—but because they deserve opportunity.
A School With A Big Mission — And Limited Resources
Framu Modern Primary School is a privately owned school in Nkunyu II Village, Kitsutsu Parish, Munkunyu Sub-County, Kasese District, Uganda.
The school is fully licensed by Uganda’s Ministry of Education and Sports.
The school currently has:
- 563 pupils
- 15 teachers
- 8 female teachers
- 7 male teachers
- Nursery and primary education
- Computer literacy in the curriculum
- Sustainable agriculture activities
- Environmental and climate-awareness activities
- Academic and extracurricular competitions
The school was established to help children who might otherwise struggle to access quality education.
But today, the school faces a serious educational resource gap.
The Children Need Books
Imagine being a child who loves reading but has very few books available.
Imagine sitting in class hearing about different worlds, inventions, countries, animals, science and possibilities—but having no library where you can explore those subjects independently.
Framu Modern Primary School wants to build a library and expand its reading resources.
The school is seeking support for:
📚 Reading books
📚 Story books
📚 Textbooks
📚 Children’s educational materials
📚 Shelving and library furniture
📚 A safe, welcoming library space
A library would become much more than a room filled with books.
It could become a place where a child discovers a new dream.
The Digital Divide Is Real
Computer literacy is part of the school’s curriculum.
But the school currently has only ONE computer for school administrative and educational work.
There are no dedicated computers available for pupils to use for practical computer training.
As a result, children can study computer theory without receiving the hands-on experience that would help them develop real digital skills.
There is also no internet connection at the school.
Think about what that means for a child growing up in an increasingly digital world.
While technology is becoming part of almost every profession, these children risk being left behind simply because they do not have access to the tools needed to practice.
We want to change that.
The school is seeking donations toward:
💻 Student computers
🌐 Reliable internet access
🔌 Networking equipment
🖥️ Computer laboratory equipment
📚 Digital learning resources
⚡ Power and charging solutions where needed
Our Current Technology Gap
Computers available for pupil practical training
Student-access computers
Current: █ 1 computer
Needed: ████████████████████ A properly equipped computer-learning environment
Current reality: The school has one computer, primarily used for school work, while pupils mainly study computer theory.
Our goal: Create an environment where children can actually sit at a computer, practice, explore, type, research and develop digital confidence.
563 CHILDREN. 15 TEACHERS. ONE SHARED DREAM.
SCHOOL COMMUNITY
PUPILS ██████████████████████████████████████████████████ 563
TEACHERS ██ 15
Behind every number is a person.
563 children means:
563 developing minds.
563 different stories.
563 hopes for the future.
And 15 teachers who continue showing up to educate them.
Many Children Also Face Food Challenges
Education becomes incredibly difficult when a child is hungry.
Some children at Framu Modern Primary School reportedly come to school without breakfast.
A hungry child may struggle to concentrate.
They may struggle to participate.
They may spend the school day thinking about food instead of the lesson in front of them.
That is why this campaign is also about helping vulnerable children access basic support that allows them to learn with dignity.
We want to help the school strengthen support for children who arrive at school without adequate food.
A book can open a mind.
A computer can open a world.
A meal can help a child concentrate long enough to learn.
Some Families Struggle With School Fees
Some children also come from families that struggle to meet school-related costs.
For these families, education can become a difficult financial burden.
We want to help ensure that poverty does not become the reason a child is forced to give up on education.
Your support can help the school assist vulnerable children where possible and strengthen the educational opportunities available to them.
What Your Donation Can Help Create
Every contribution can become part of something bigger.

Our Vision For The Future
Imagine walking into Framu Modern Primary School a few years from now.
You see children sitting quietly in a library, turning the pages of books.
You see pupils learning how to use computers.
You see students researching school projects online.
You see teachers using digital resources to make lessons more engaging.
You see children who once had limited access to technology developing confidence with tools that can shape their future.
You see a child who once came to school hungry now able to concentrate on mathematics.
You see a child who thought university or a professional career was impossible beginning to believe:
“Maybe I can do it.”
That is what we are trying to build.

A History Of People Helping Children
Framu Modern Primary School has previously received support from organizations and groups that believed in its mission.
Pens for Kids of the United Kingdom donated scholastic materials from 2017–2021.
Bandu Agriculture Development Centre donated storybooks from 2021–2023.
Gift Women Link Foundation supported school uniforms for approximately 200 pupils in 2023.
Power of Jesus Fellowship Church donated 300 New Testament Bibles to lower-primary pupils in 2022.
These acts of generosity demonstrate something important:
When people come together, children benefit.
Now Framu is asking for new partners to help address the school’s current needs.
WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR
We are seeking individuals, churches, charitable organizations, foundations, businesses, educational organizations, technology partners and caring people around the world who would consider supporting Framu Modern Primary School.

EVERY GIFT MATTERS
You don’t have to make a huge donation to make a difference.
A small contribution can become part of a larger solution.
$10
Can contribute toward educational materials and reading resources.
$25
Can help expand learning materials and children’s access to books.
$50
Can contribute toward technology, educational resources or library development.
$100
Can make a meaningful contribution toward computers, connectivity or educational infrastructure.
$250+
Can help support larger equipment and school-resource needs.
These are examples—not fixed prices.
Give whatever amount you can comfortably afford.
THE POWER OF MANY PEOPLE
One person may not be able to build a library alone.
One person may not be able to establish a computer laboratory alone.
One person may not be able to support hundreds of children alone.
But imagine what happens when many people each do a little.
100 PEOPLE × $10 = $1,000
100 PEOPLE × $25 = $2,500
100 PEOPLE × $50 = $5,000
100 PEOPLE × $100 = $10,000
A community can turn small acts of kindness into something enormous.
Our Dream: A Child Should Not Be Limited By Where They Were Born
The Rwenzori Mountains are beautiful.
But beauty does not erase poverty.
A child growing up in a rural community should not have to accept fewer opportunities simply because of where they were born.
They should be able to read.
They should be able to use a computer.
They should be able to access knowledge.
They should be able to dream about becoming a teacher, doctor, engineer, scientist, entrepreneur, farmer, artist, programmer or anything else their imagination allows.
Education gives children that possibility.
❤️ WILL YOU STAND WITH FRAMU CHILDREN?
Today, we are asking you to look beyond a fundraising number.
Look at the children.
Look at the classrooms.
Look at the single computer.
Look at the children who need books.
Look at the families struggling to provide school fees.
Look at the children who sometimes arrive without breakfast.
And then imagine what could happen if people around the world decided that these children matter.
Because they do.
Your donation is not simply money.
It is a message to a child:
“Your education matters.”
“Your dreams matter.”
“Your future matters.”
“You are not forgotten.”
🙏 A HEARTFELT APPEAL
To every person who is reading this campaign:
If you have ever had a teacher who believed in you, a book that changed your thinking, a computer that opened a door, or someone who helped you when you needed it most, you understand the power of opportunity.
Now you have an opportunity to pass that kindness forward.
Please consider making a donation to Framu Modern Primary School.
If you cannot give financially, please share this campaign with your friends, family, church, community, school, business or social-media network.
One share could reach someone who can help provide a computer.
One donation could put books into a child’s hands.
One partnership could help build a library.
One act of kindness could become part of a child’s future.
Together, we can help turn limited resources into unlimited possibilities.
❤️ Help us give Framu’s children the tools to learn, dream and build a better tomorrow.
563 children are waiting for opportunity.
15 teachers are working to give them that opportunity.
Now they need partners who believe in the power of education.
Please Give. Please Share. Please Stand With Framu Modern Primary School.
