For the past three years, I have been working in the UAE, doing everything I can to build a better and more secure future for my family.
But one sacrifice has been incredibly painful: I have been separated from my wife and my 6-year-old son for three long years.
Three years without waking up beside my wife. Three years without holding my son, hearing his laughter, watching him grow, helping him with the little things, or being there for the important moments of his childhood.
Every parent knows that children grow up quickly. Every birthday, every milestone, and every ordinary day that I have missed is something I can never get back.
I left my family with hope that my hard work would eventually give us a better life. Working far from home has not been easy, but I continued because I believed the sacrifices would be worth it.
Now, more than anything, I want to come home to my family.
I am raising funds to help cover the costs of returning home and reuniting with my wife and son. After three years apart, being together again would mean more to me than I can put into words.
I don’t want my son to grow up remembering his father only through phone calls, pictures, or video chats. I want to be present. I want to hold him, spend time with him, watch him learn and grow, and create the family memories we have missed for so long.
