Financial Assistance Required for a Schizophrenia Patient

💔 A Family in Crisis: Two Brothers with Schizophrenia, an Elderly Mother, and No Way Out

I’m writing this with a heavy heart, not just for myself, but for my entire family. For the past twelve years, I’ve been suffering from schizophrenia—a severe mental health condition that has taken a toll on every part of my life. I’ve lost my ability to work, socialize, and live independently. My days are filled with confusion, anxiety, fear, and isolation.

As painful as my struggle has been, what breaks my heart even more is that my younger brother was also diagnosed with schizophrenia six years ago. Watching him go through the same battles I’ve faced—hallucinations, disorganized thoughts, emotional instability, and daily torment—is devastating.

We both depend entirely on our 72-year-old mother, who is herself extremely ill. She suffers from several age-related health conditions including high blood pressure, arthritis, and chronic weakness. Despite her condition, she continues to be the one trying to care for us—cooking, managing medications, and taking us to doctor visits when she can afford to. But her strength is fading, and she’s emotionally and physically drained.

We are now completely without income. We cannot afford the medications that stabilize our minds. We can’t pay for doctor visits or psychiatric care. Even putting food on the table has become a daily struggle. Some days, we have to choose between buying food or buying medicine. Some days, we go without both.

We’re not just poor—we’re completely forgotten. We’re locked in a silent prison of mental illness, poverty, and helplessness. We have no one else to turn to, and that is why I am asking, from the bottom of my heart, for your help.

Your donation will go directly toward:

  • 💊 Monthly psychiatric medications for me and my brother

  • 🏥 Doctor and therapy visits

  • 🍽️ Daily living costs—food, hygiene items, and rent

  • 👵 Elder care and medicine for our mother

Even a few dollars can help us get one more day of stability, one more day of safety. Your kindness could be the reason we survive this week, this month, this year.

If you’re unable to give, please share this message with others. Please pray for us. Please don’t let our story end in silence and suffering.

Thank you so much for reading, and for opening your heart to people like us who are too often forgotten.

🙏 God bless you abundantly.
