💔 A Cry From Zambia: Help Us Bring Hope Back
In the heart of Zambia, far from the eyes of the world, lies a village where silence has replaced laughter. The children here no longer dream of toys or school — they dream of food. Just one meal. One warm blanket. One notebook to write their names.
Among them is a little girl named Tamara, only 8 years old. She lost both her parents to illness last year. Now, she lives with her blind grandmother in a crumbling mud house with no electricity, no clean water, and no consistent food. Most days, Tamara walks miles barefoot just to fetch dirty water from a distant stream, water that’s often shared with animals. She’s been sick more times than she can count.

Tamara has never held a toy. She’s never sat in a classroom. But she still smiles — even when her stomach growls from hunger — because she believes someone, somewhere will come and help.
We are that hope.
I, Kelvin Mvula, have dedicated my life to serving children like Tamara through my foundation here in Zambia. But we cannot do it alone. We need compassionate hearts like yours to walk this journey with us.
With just a few dollars, you can:
Feed a child for a week 🍲
Buy school shoes for a barefoot student 👟
Provide mosquito nets to protect from malaria 🦟
Fund clean water projects 💧
Give orphans access to basic healthcare 🏥
No act of kindness is too small. Every donation is a seed of hope.
Please, be part of this mission. Together, we can turn silent tears into joyful laughter. Together, we can rebuild broken lives.
💔 Sad Facts About Poverty and Vulnerability in Zambia

Over 60% of Zambians live below the poverty line, with many surviving on less than $1.90 per day. In rural areas, poverty is even more extreme and widespread.
Zambia has one of the highest orphan rates in the world. Over 1.2 million children have lost one or both parents, mostly due to HIV/AIDS and other preventable diseases.
Thousands of children are out of school simply because their families cannot afford basic school fees, uniforms, or even a notebook.
More than 35% of children under age 5 are stunted due to chronic malnutrition — meaning their physical and mental growth is permanently damaged.
Child labor is widespread. Many children as young as 5 are forced to work in fields, markets, or scavenge through trash just to eat that day.
Healthcare is out of reach for most poor families. Simple illnesses like diarrhea, malaria, or pneumonia — which are easily treatable — often become deadly.
Clean water is still a luxury. Over 5 million people in Zambia do not have access to safe drinking water. Many drink from contaminated streams shared with animals.
Girls are especially vulnerable. Many are forced into early marriages or face sexual exploitation just to survive. Girls drop out of school at higher rates due to lack of menstrual hygiene supplies or domestic responsibilities.
Disabled children are often abandoned. In extreme poverty, children with disabilities are viewed as burdens and may be neglected, hidden away, or left behind.
Many families go days without food. A mother might feed her children boiled leaves or maize husks just to silence their cries of hunger.
