1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
My name is Dominic Kipkorir Kangogo, and I am respectfully presenting this proposal to compassionate individuals, churches, charitable organisations, companies, foundations, and friends who believe in the power of community and dignified shelter.
For several years, my family and I have worked tirelessly brick by brick, beam by beam to build a safe, decent home in Moiben, Eldoret, on land I inherited from my beloved parents, who have since passed away. Through personal savings, sacrifice, patience, and the grace of God, we have brought the house from its foundation to the ring-beam level. We have also purchased 300 metres of roofing sheets, which now sit on-site, waiting to shelter the rooms beneath them.
However, our financial resources have now been exhausted. The remaining works, including roofing timber, plastering, electrical installation, plumbing, windows, doors, painting, wardrobes, and other finishes, are beyond our current ability. This year, our only source of income, maize farming, was severely affected by drought in Uasin Gishu County, leaving us without the means to complete this dream.
We are seeking KSh 2,270,000 (approximately USD 17,600) to complete the house and finally open the doors of a home where our children can grow in safety, study in peace, and build lasting memories. Every contribution, regardless of size, brings us one step closer to that day.

2. ABOUT OUR FAMILY AND OUR STORY
I am Dominic Kipkorir Kangogo, a husband and father devoted to providing a secure and dignified future for my family. My wife and I have raised our children with the values of hard work, faith, and perseverance. We believe that a home is more than just walls and a roof, it is the foundation upon which dreams are built, memories are made, and generations are shaped.
This house represents far more than bricks and mortar. It is a place where our children will do their homework in peace. It is a place where my family will be safe from the rain and the cold. It is a place where we can gather with neighbours, celebrate birthdays, worship together, and welcome friends with warmth and hospitality. In a world where many struggle to find shelter, we do not take for granted the progress we have made. But we also know that we cannot cross this final stretch alone.
That is why we are reaching out to you not as strangers, but as someone who believes that when good people come together, miracles happen. Your generosity will not simply help construct a house; it will provide a lasting legacy of security, dignity, and hope for a family striving to build a better future.
3. THE LAND AND LOCATION
The land upon which this house stands holds deep personal significance. It was inherited from my deceased parents, who worked the soil of Uasin Gishu County with diligence and love. To build upon this land is to honour their memory and to secure the future they envisioned for their children and grandchildren.
The property is located in Moiben, Eldoret, Kenya, one of the most agriculturally productive regions in the Rift Valley. The area is known for its rolling maize fields, temperate climate, and strong community spirit. Moiben is well-connected to Eldoret town, providing access to schools, health facilities, markets, and other essential services.

4. THE HOUSE: CURRENT STATUS & VISION
The house is a four-bedroom permanent residence with a total floor area of 195 square metres. As shown in the attached photographs, the structure has been built up from the foundation to the reinforced concrete ring-beam (lintel band) level. The masonry block-work walls are complete, and 300 metres of roofing sheets have been purchased and delivered to the site.
The attached 3D architectural model illustrates the completed vision: a beautiful family home with a tiled roof, finished exterior walls, secure windows and doors, and a welcoming entrance. The house plan (Appendix A) shows the detailed layout, including four bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen, dining area, three toilets, one bathroom, a store, and a corridor.

6. OUR SOURCE OF INCOME & CURRENT CHALLENGE
Our family's sole source of income is maize farming on our land in Uasin Gishu County. For years, we have cultivated the soil with dedication, relying on the seasonal rains to produce a harvest that sustains our family and generates the income needed for essentials such as school fees, medical care, and household expenses.
Tragically, this year has been devastating. Uasin Gishu County, normally one of Kenya's breadbaskets, has been hit by severe drought. The rains failed, and our maize crop withered in the fields. What should have been a season of harvest turned into one of loss and uncertainty. Without the expected income from the harvest, we have no financial reserves to draw upon to complete the house.
This drought has not only affected our family but has impacted thousands of farming households across the region. We are not asking for relief from poverty, but rather for partnership in finishing a project we have already invested years of labour and savings into. We are hard-working people who have reached a critical stage and now need a helping hand to cross the finish line.

Appendix A: House Plan
The architectural floor plan shows the layout of the 195-square-metre residence, including four bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen, dining area, three toilets, one bathroom with shower, a store, and a corridor. Appendix B: Current Construction Photographs
The attached photographs show the current state of construction. The masonry walls are complete up to the ring-beam level, with door and window openings framed. The structure is ready for roofing, plastering, and finishing works. The images clearly demonstrate the solid foundation and structural integrity already achieved, as well as the home's scale and potential.
Appendix C: 3D Architectural Model (Completed Vision)
The 3D rendering illustrates the intended completed appearance of the house. Features include a pink tiled roof, smooth finished exterior walls with a light peach finish, secure window frames with grilles, a decorative stone base, and a welcoming entrance. This model represents the dream that your support will help bring to life.
Appendix D: Farm and Land Context
The photograph of the maize field shows the agricultural land that forms our family's sole source of income. This year's devastating drought in Uasin Gishu County destroyed the crop, leaving us without the harvest income we had planned to invest in completing the house. This image underscores the urgency and genuineness of our appeal.
