My name is Favour, and I am a student with a dream—a dream of completing my education, graduating, and one day creating a better life for myself and my family.
Unfortunately, that dream is slipping further away because of our financial struggles.
My father is the only person working hard to support our family. Despite his tireless efforts, the cost of my education has become more than he can manage. Every day, he sacrifices so much just to provide our basic needs, yet school fees, books, transportation, and other educational expenses remain beyond our reach.
As each school term approaches, I am overwhelmed with fear and uncertainty. Instead of focusing on my studies, I spend sleepless nights wondering if I will be sent home because my fees have not been paid. It is heartbreaking to watch my classmates continue learning while I worry about losing the opportunity that means everything to me.
Education is more than just attending classes—it is my only path toward breaking the cycle of poverty. It represents hope, independence, and the chance to one day support my family and give back to others who are struggling just as we are today.
I am not asking for a life of comfort or luxury. I am simply asking for the opportunity to remain in school and continue pursuing my dreams.
