Access Rehabilitation Ministries in Uganda is a registered Non-profit, dedicated to creating a world where families unite through healing and hope. Our mission is to provide compassionate support and resources to families as they navigate the challenging journey of recovery from the impacts of drug addiction. When someone becomes addicted to alcohol or drugs, almost every intervention focuses solely on one individual; the addict. However, addiction rarely destroys just one life; it traumatizes children, fractures marriages, drains family finances, and breaks trust. Our unconventional solution is to shift from an individual-centered model to a family-centered recovery model, recognizing that healing begins with the entire family unit. Through this approach, we aim to foster stronger, healthier families and communities, where hope and resilience can flourish.
