HMy name is Michaela, and today I’m reaching out on behalf of the man I love. Creating this fundraiser is not something he would ever do himself because he has always believed that no matter how difficult life becomes, he should solve every problem on his own. He has always been the one helping others, never asking for anything in return.
Unfortunately, life has brought one hardship after another, leaving us in a position we never imagined.
Last year, the company where he worked began failing financially. As the business declined, he was forced to resign, leaving him without stable employment. Around the same time, one of our vehicles broke down. To keep life moving, he sold another vehicle to pay for repairs.
Then tragedy struck.
His mother became seriously ill and required ongoing medical care. Hospital visits, treatments, medications, and doctor appointments quickly exhausted every dollar he had saved. Without hesitation, he chose his mother’s health over his own financial security.
Only a few months later, his brother unexpectedly passed away.
Once again, he stepped forward to help the family by paying funeral expenses that weren’t covered elsewhere. He simply couldn’t stand by while his family struggled.
Soon after, his mother became ill again.
With no meaningful help from other family members, he made another heartbreaking decision—he sold his last remaining vehicle so she could continue receiving the medical treatment she desperately needed.
For years he has been the person everyone depended on.
He helped pay for family members’ education, school uniforms, daily expenses, emergencies, and anything else they needed. Whenever someone was in trouble, they called him.
Today, when he needs support the most, many of those same people have disappeared.
Despite everything, he has never given up.
For nearly two years we have submitted countless job applications. He has years of experience in Information Technology and continues applying every single week. Unfortunately, many employers either require reliable transportation or are reluctant to hire applicants without it.
Without a dependable vehicle, getting to interviews or commuting to work has become one of the biggest obstacles standing between him and a fresh start.
We’re not asking for luxury.
We’re simply hoping to raise enough to purchase a safe, reliable used vehicle that will allow him to attend interviews, accept employment opportunities, and begin rebuilding the life that circumstances took away.
