My name is Danell Oosthuizen, and I'm the founder of Aura Social a global freelance marketplace I built from scratch at aurasocial.world.
The platform is live right now. Freelancers can create profiles, clients can post projects, and both sides can communicate, sign contracts, and track milestones all in one place. Freelancers keep 100% of their earnings. Aura Social charges a 12.5% fee to clients only.
The one thing blocking me from fully operating is business registration. CIPC registration costs R175. Without it, I cannot activate our payment provider (Paystack), which requires a registered business number.
I'm not asking for investment. I'm asking for help to cross the last administrative hurdle so a real, working, SA-built product can serve the freelancers and businesses who are already using it.
