My name is Ranjit Kumar Sharma, and I am reaching out with humility, hope, and determination during one of the most difficult periods of my life.
For the past three years, I have been living through prolonged unemployment despite making continuous efforts to secure work and rebuild financial stability. This has been an emotionally and financially exhausting experience that has changed nearly every aspect of my daily life.
Before this difficult chapter began, I spent more than a decade building my professional career across customer service, recruitment, sales, international business process operations, and business support roles. Throughout those years, I had the opportunity to work with clients across different countries and industries, developing strong communication skills, professional discipline, and a deep commitment to helping organizations and customers succeed.
I always believed that dedication, hard work, and perseverance would provide long-term stability. Like many professionals, I planned carefully, worked consistently, and focused on creating a secure future.
However, circumstances changed.
Over time, periods of unstable employment turned into long-term unemployment. What I initially believed would be a temporary setback gradually became a prolonged struggle. Despite applying to countless job openings, attending interviews, networking, updating my resume, improving my skills, and remaining active in my job search, securing stable employment has remained extremely difficult.
As months became years, the impact extended far beyond income.
My savings slowly disappeared while essential expenses continued. Managing rent, utilities, transportation, communication costs, and daily necessities became increasingly challenging. Every decision required careful budgeting and sacrifice.
One of the most difficult parts of unemployment is that the search itself often requires resources. Reliable internet access, communication services, transportation for interviews, professional documents, training opportunities, and basic stability all play an important role in staying active in the job market.
Even during this difficult period, I have continued moving forward.
I remain committed to applying for opportunities, preparing for interviews, strengthening my experience, and adapting to changing job market expectations. I continue to believe that stable employment is possible and that this chapter does not define my future.
