I never imagined that something good—like being accepted into a course—could also break my heart. 💔
My name is Samkelisiwe Mgxebe, and I have been accepted to study Home Based Care at Robin Trust College.
This should be a moment of joy… but instead, I am worried. 😢
I cannot afford the R8000 tuition fee and study materials needed to begin my training.
This course means everything to me. It will qualify me to care for the elderly 🧓, people living with illness 🏥, and families who are struggling at home. It is a path out of poverty… and a chance to finally stand on my feet.
Right now, I feel stuck. 💔
I want to change my life. I want to work. I want to give my son a better future than the one I’m struggling through today. 👩👦
But without this training, those dreams feel very far away.
Home-based care jobs are in high demand, and once I qualify, I will finally be able to earn a stable income, support my child, and even help others in my community who are suffering and need care. 🧡
I am not asking for luxury… just a chance. 🙏
A chance to study.
A chance to work.
A chance to breathe again. 😢
If you choose to support me, you will not just be paying for school fees—you will be helping me build a new life for my son and turning pain into purpose.
I will share every update—my studies, my certificate 🎓, and my first job—so you can see exactly how your kindness changed my life.
Thank you for reading my story and standing with me. 🧡
With deep gratitude,
Samkelisiwe Mgxebe
