I am a mother doing everything I can to provide a better future for my children. I live with severe asthma and depend on an asthma pump to help me breathe, but I continue working because I want to provide for my family and give my children the opportunity to succeed.
With my small salary, I struggle every month to cover our basic needs, including:
- Paying our monthly rent
- Buying electricity
- Purchasing groceries
- Paying for my medication
- Providing clothing and other necessities for my children
After covering these expenses, there is very little left for my children’s education. Their education is extremely important to me because I want them to continue their studies, build careers, become independent, and make something meaningful of their lives.
Their father is no longer able to provide the support we need, leaving me to carry much of the responsibility on my own. It has been a very difficult journey, but I refuse to give up on my children.
