Hello, my name is Christabel, and I am a mother from Kenya. ❤️
For many years, I lived with the heartbreaking pain of being called barren. I endured countless tears, prayers, and disappointments as I watched others experience the joy of motherhood while wondering if I would ever hold a child of my own.
Then, in September 2024, God answered my prayers with the greatest blessing of my life—a beautiful baby boy. He is my miracle, my hope, and the answer to years of faith. Every single day, I thank God for giving me my son. 👶🙏
But our joy was quickly replaced with fear.
My precious baby was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC), a rare condition that has affected his legs and joints. He was born with clubfoot, a knee that cannot bend properly, and pelvic muscles that are too tight, making it difficult for him to move as other children do.
Since he was only 4 days old, we have been traveling to hospitals for treatment. We attend specialist clinics once or twice every month, and doctors have told us that he urgently needs knee surgery before further treatment can continue. Without this surgery and ongoing therapy, he may face lifelong mobility challenges.
As a single mother, I have done everything I possibly can. I have spent every savings I had, borrowed money, and sacrificed everything just to keep my son’s treatment going. Today, I have reached a point where I can no longer afford the medical bills, transportation, therapy sessions, and surgery costs. The financial burden has become overwhelming.
💔 As a mother, nothing hurts more than knowing your child needs help that you cannot afford.
I refuse to give up on my miracle baby. He deserves the chance to walk, play, and enjoy the childhood every child deserves.
