My name is Nasim, and I am writing to you from Gaza, where my family and I are struggling to survive through one of the darkest periods of our lives.
Every day is a fight—not only against fear and uncertainty, but also against hunger, illness, and the constant challenge of finding life’s most basic necessities. We never know if we will have enough food to eat, clean water to drink, or essential supplies to make it through another day.
On top of these hardships, I suffer from a serious medical condition that has worsened because of the severe psychological stress and trauma we have endured. I experience frequent and heavy nosebleeds that leave me weak, exhausted, and in constant discomfort. Doctors have prescribed medication that can help control my condition, but it is unavailable in local clinics. The only option is to purchase it privately, and the cost is far beyond what my family can afford.
Living with untreated medical problems while trying to survive a humanitarian crisis has become overwhelming. There are moments when I feel helpless, but I refuse to give up on my family or our hope for a better future.
