My name is Tania Akter, and I am a mother from Galachipa, Gazipur, Bangladesh. I am asking for help because my home is no longer safe for me and my young, sick daughter.
Our small tin house is badly damaged. The roof has many holes, and whenever it rains, water pours into our home. The floor becomes flooded, making it extremely difficult for us to sleep and live safely.
My daughter is sick, and as a mother, it is heartbreaking to see her exposed to these conditions. We have nowhere else to go, and I do not have enough money to repair our home. My family is also unable to provide the financial help we need.
Our Goal: $1,000
I am raising $1,000 to purchase new tin roofing sheets, wood, and other essential materials needed to repair and make our home safer.
Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference. A gift of $5, $10, or any amount you can afford will help us move closer to having a dry and secure place to sleep.
The attached photograph shows the condition of our home and why we urgently need assistance.
I am reaching out to kind and compassionate people because I have no other way to raise the money needed for these repairs. Your support would mean so much to me and my daughter.
Please consider donating and sharing our campaign with others. Even a small contribution can help protect my daughter and give our family hope.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any kindness you can offer.
With hope and gratitude,
Tania Akter
