My name is William Mbizi.
I am a student at the Malawi College of Health Sciences, working toward a Diploma in Biomedical Science. This is a 3-year program that will allow me to work in medical laboratories, helping to diagnose diseases that affect thousands of people in my country every day.
But I have a problem.
My tuition is $1,000 per year. That might not sound like a lot to some people, but for me and my family, it is a huge amount of money. I am trying my best, but I cannot afford to pay this on my own.
Where your money will go:
$1,000 One full year of tuition at Malawi College of Health Sciences
If I raise more than $3,000, the extra will go toward my accommodation at school.
Why this matters:
Biomedical scientists save lives behind the scenes. Every blood test, every lab result, every diagnosis starts with someone like me. When a doctor treats a patient, they rely on accurate lab work and that is what I am training to do.
After I graduate, I plan to work in a hospital or health center in Malawi. I want to serve my own community. I want to help sick people get the right diagnosis and the right treatment.
My promise to you:
I will not waste your support. I will study hard. I will graduate. And I will use my skills to help others. One day, I hope to be in a position to help another student just like me.
How you can help:
Donate any amount or whatever you can afford. Every dollar brings me closer to staying in school.
Share this campaign If you cannot donate, please share my story with your friends, family, and social media followers. A share costs nothing but means everything.
Thank you:
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my story. Your support whether through a donation or a share gives me hope. I refuse to give up on my dream. Please don't give up on me.
With gratitude,
William Mbizi
