My name is Edward, and today I am humbly reaching out for help.
About a year ago, I lost my job. What followed has been one of the most difficult periods of my life.
Like many people trying to keep their families going during difficult times, I turned to loans to meet my responsibilities and keep things moving. Unfortunately, the debts accumulated, and what I initially believed would be a temporary situation has become a financial burden that I have struggled to overcome.
I have tried to deal with the situation on my own. I have sold some of my personal belongings and done everything I can to raise money and settle what I owe. I have also tried to build a small business to create another source of income, but it has not yet grown enough to give me the stability I need.
Today, I am asking for something I never imagined I would have to ask for:
A helping hand. A second chance. An opportunity to start again.
I am not looking for someone to carry me forever. I am asking for support that can help me get through this difficult chapter, stabilize my situation, take care of my family and rebuild my livelihood.
My goal is to raise KSh 5,000,000 (approximately US$38,500). I know it is a significant amount, but I also know that when many people come together, small contributions can become something life-changing.
KSh 500, KSh 1,000, KSh 5,000, KSh 10,000 — whatever you can afford — can make a difference.
And if you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this story with someone else could be just as valuable.
I am hardworking. I have skills, experience and the desire to work. I simply need some breathing room and a genuine opportunity to rebuild.
I believe that a difficult chapter should not become the definition of someone's life. Everyone deserves a second chance.
