My name is Moses Ibanda, a technology professional and entrepreneur from Uganda. Throughout my career, I have worked to improve institutions and communities through technology, serving in roles including System Auditor, IT Manager, Software Implementation Officer, and IT Support Officer. I am also the Founder and Executive Director of Rimosoft Technologies Limited, where I develop technology solutions for schools, businesses, and financial institutions.
I have been presented with an opportunity to pursue advanced postgraduate studies in emerging technologies. This education will enable me to gain expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, and intelligent systems that are increasingly important in solving development challenges in Uganda and across Africa.
Despite working hard to support my family and advance my career, the cost of tuition, travel, accommodation, visa processing, and living expenses remains beyond my financial capacity. I am actively pursuing scholarships and other sources of support, but I still require financial assistance to make this opportunity possible.
My long-term goal is to use the knowledge and skills gained through further education to strengthen technology innovation, create employment opportunities, support digital transformation, and develop solutions that improve education, financial inclusion, security, and economic development in Uganda.
